Our Weddings - Mark and Ursula

This was the first wedding I conceptualized and planned from beginning to end. The wedding kicked off with a hosted dinner for close friends and family at Vrede en Lust on Friday night, an a la carte breakfast for accommodated guests on Saturday morning with an afternoon lunch followed by pamper treatments and sight seeing for out if town guests.

The wedding ceremony took place on the laws at Vrede en Lust late Saturday afternoon and was followed by a lavish reception for 96 guests.

We opened the dance floor with a sultry Tango (and after 6 months of dance lessons I just about got it right with my two left feet!) and guests danced the night away to a collection of songs that inspired the young and old to groove  like never before. The wedding celebration ended with a breakfast on Sunday morning around the pool at Vrede en Lust.

Liz from Puccini Creations was a superstar who helped make my vision come true! My wedding gown was gifted to me by my husbands mother and was a bespoke gown made by Gabi Rosenwerth. My husband's and grooms waist coats were also made by Gabi Rosenwerth. 

Our beautiful and delicious wedding cake made by Lelia de Wet from the Cake Box was chocolate ganache covered in white lindt chocolate and was as amazing to taste as it looked!
